3121 Perfume by Prince Premiering This Week

Anyone intrigued? I am - I am not ashamed to admit it. Well, maybe a little, but I am most anxious to get a schnozz full of Prince’s new perfume, 3121. Gorgeous bottle, and well, Prince is just an intriguing character, don’t ya think?
You can catch 3121 in Macy’s sometime this month - the premiere of the fragrance is 07-07-07 (that is this Thursday I am losing my mind, that is next month…lol), but I am unclear on whether it will be available in the stores then or just online. You can read more about Revelations, the perfume house that is creating 3121 for Prince - they say the scent is a “sweet mixture of Bergemot, gardenia and musk,” which really might be up my alley - or it might be wayyyy too over the top. The premire of the “3121″ perfume was this past Friday (June 2nd, 2007) at Macy’s only in MPLS. My ‘package’ is in the mail, so I can’t comment of how it smells but like U, I am intrigued!!!

Is it just me, or does it look like something straight out of Austin Powers? The marketing people could’ve done a helluva better job on packaging, in my opinion.

Thanks for the info Jill - I hope its in my local Macy’s on the 7th, but I have a feeling it will just be available on the web site then, but I will sure go find out.
Sofi - that it does. :) But retro is in, right? It’s kinda *Prince-y” looking…

I think it’s available in stores July 7th, not June7th. He’s doing a concert in the Minneapolis Macy’s store on that day for the release.

I’m really looking forward to smelling 3121 too. I’m in Las Vegas, so I’ve been hoping that he’ll have some kind of special sneak peak (or sniff, as the case may be) at his club, 3121.
P.S. — I’m loving his eyeliner on the 3121 perfume website. I wonder what he uses, lol.

Okay this perfume smells good to me I tried it but Ya know how those people in department stores always spray you with perfume against you will, apparently they are stopping that because research or something say people don’t like it so now we can say BYE BYE to department store perfume girl

I have a large size of Prince’s 3121 perfume since i bought a Prince concert package. Please let me know if anyone is interested in buying it from me. It is brand new in plastic.

I really don’t care what it smells like. It’s from Prince and that is enough for me. I have always been a fan and I have no problem supporting him whether I wear this perfume or not. I have all his CD’s (which I buy whether I have heard it or not) and I will have his products, also.

Well, i had purchased it also from the website and i have been a Prince fan ever since i was a teenager.. And i had met him three times. He is short but a nice guy. I am going to Mini to see him perform too. I am going to keep the bottle as long as i can, i may have to purchase another one so that will be only for display only and i wear the other.
BTW
The eyeliner he wears is MAC.
You never know, he may come out with a cosmetic line of his own…. Keep a watch out for that..
That would be off the hook if he does come out with a cosmetic line.

I LOVE Prince’s 3121. I went to Macy’s and the saleswoman let me spray myself with it! It smells somewhat of grape and orientals and so light and fragrant and subtle. I loved it, I kept smelling myself when I was out on the street over and over again, I would get a light whiff of it! It is so wonderful and I can’t wait to get the entire set! Most women will love it, because it is not too heavy, but wonderful smelling and light! Hurry to Macy’s, they have it in Cali!

Just wanted to comment and say i’m with Donna Simms Key all the way………Prince is the best ever.
