Anne Hathaway for Lancome
I sure do love Anne Hathaway, and apparently Lancome has seen her allure and has today officially announced her hire as their new brand ambassador.
“Anne Hathaway is a radiant young woman who perfectly embodies modern femininity. We know she will portray all the passion and excitement of our new fragrance, to be launched throughout the world in September 2008″, says Odile Roujol, President of Lancôme International.
Anne joins a long line of beautiful women with an amazing spirit as the ambassador for Lancome - Kate Winslet, Daria Werbowy, Uma Thurman, Isabella Rossellini. They have a wonderful history of choosing very individual people to represent their brand - I think Anne Hathaway is a perfect choice.

Drew Barrymore for Cover Girl, Hilary Swank for Guerlain and now Anne Hathaway for Lancome??? This is an interesting marketing strategy…not sure if I agree. I still long for the days of the supermodel. I love the celebrities…but when Iman was the face of Yves Saint Lauren…that was a beautiful thing.
