Beauty Beat - Black Nail Polish is Cool for the Fall!
Black nail polish is a super hot summer trend that is going to still be super cool in the fall. If you have cool coloring to your skin, you are good to go with jet black. My favorite is jet black with sparkles! If, however, your skin is more on the warm side, black is not going to be your best bet. Luckily this trend extends to very dark browns and vampy dark reds, making it very easy to find just the right shade for you. All of the companies making nail polish have at least one version of dark nail polish this season, so just hit the stores! Also, this look is more hipster, and less goth if you keep your nails on the short side, and don’t forget that Solar Oil to keep your cuticles moisturized and looking great, because you know you will have more eyes on your hands!

Yowzers. I remember when vamp was popular almost 10 years ago?!?! But anything with sparkles gets my vote. :D

I have been reading the most popular black shade for this season is made by Chanel. I belive the name is “Black Satin”, but it is sold out in most places. I was looking for it last Friday and could not find it anywhere, but I did find this gorgeous plum shade by Estee Lauder. A couple of coats, and from a quick glance, it appears to be black. But it has a beautiful purple shade to it. I highly suggest it!

Wasn’t it also Chanel who came up with Vamp years ago? I really like their nail polish. They go on real smooth and dry fast. Hardly ever needs a second coat.

You betcha - gorgeous color. I am wearing one from Revlon right now that is called Vixen and very similar to Vamp. I can’t imagine only wearing one coat of color - its a sin! :)
