Beauty Beat: Natural Beauty

by Christina Jones on March 6th, 2007

100-percent-natural-beauty

There are a huge number of personal care products that claim to be natural, but are they? Currently, these products are not regulated in the U.S or the E.U. - they may contain less than 10% natural ingredients and almost none are 100% natural. How do you know what you are getting and if it is worth the extra money you are paying - you do know you ARE paying extra money, right? You read the ingredient label. Since “natural” is such a hot selling term, you need to know what you are getting. If you are looking at the ingredients, and you run into one you have a question about, look it up. This day and age, we have access to almost any kind of information that we are looking for, so take advantage of it, and educate yourself. For some of the most natural beauty products around, explore Lush Cosmetics!

1 opinion for Beauty Beat: Natural Beauty

Seems a bit wrong to call Lush products 100% natural - last time I looked they used ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulphate, propylene glycol, parabens, DEA etc. I would look to avoid these ingredients when choosing “natural” products.
