Beauty Beat - Post Summer Hair Repair

Has the end of the summer left you with hair that feels “squeaky (but not clean),” overexposed and altogether dry and frizzy? The sun, pool chemicals and general summertime neglect can wreck havoc on your hair, leading to dullness, dryness and split ends. Your first step in getting back your great hair is to get a good trim, and maybe even a great new style. Then, for about a week, use a shampoo that removes buildup (I love Tresemme’s), or add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda to your regular shampoo for the same effect. After that, you can concentrate on deep conditioning to add the oils back to your hair. Choose a moisturizing conditioner for dry, frizzy hair, but for hair that is chemically damaged, alternate with a protein conditioner to repair it, and you will be all set for a gorgeous Autumn!

Great advice - Christina! I swear by Tresemme too. I never thought of alternating the conditioners, though. I will certainly be trying that!

Am I the only one who hasn’t tried Tresemme?? I keep meaning to but simply never got around to it. Must put it on my list.
