Black Orchid by Tom Ford Beauty

I was soooooo excited to hear that Black Orchid, the flagship fragrance for Tom Ford’s newest brand, Tom Ford Beauty, was on its way out to consumers - the name alone is mystifying and intriguing, especially for a strange mystifying girl like me. Yesterday I had the opportunity to try it for the first time - and whoa - I was blown away! My initial impression, honestly, was - “this would smell amazing on my husband.” And it would - but it is for me. Me!
This is not a scent for the meek - it is spicy, sexy and powerful. If you are a “light floral” kind of person, this will not be for you. Black Orchid is available exclusively at Neiman’s, this is what they say about it:
A luxurious and sensual fragrance, Tom Ford Black Orchid with its rich dark accords and alluring potion of black orchids and spice is new and timeless.
• Sensuous top notes of Black Truffle and Ylang mingled with fresh Bergamot and delectable Black Currant.
• Dramatic middle notes of dark, tempting Florals and rich Fruit Accords. The heart is deepened with the intoxicating Lotus Wood.
• Decadent base notes of Patchouli, Incense and Vetiver. Vanilla Tears add a fluid creaminess to warm Balsam and smooth Sandalwood.
• In a black glass bottle with a hand-tied cord and a gold-tone name plaque with engraved lettering.
Decadent is an extremely good word here - I felt decadent just holding the bottle. I love this…

Your description of Black Orchid makes it sound totally decadent & luxurious. What woman wouldn’t feel totally glamorous & indulged while totally engulfed in it’s fragrance.
