Day 3: Comments for a Cure

by Christina Jones on June 6th, 2007

We did so great yesterday, thanks so much to all of you who participated in Comments for a Cure! We went from 20 at the end of Monday to 80 yesterday! So that leaves me 120 comments needed to reach my goal of 200 by midnight tonight. Can you do it? Will you? It just takes a second - hit the comments link just under this post, and just say hi if you don’t have anything else to say. My mascara question yesterday seemed to be a hit, so lets try one more easy question to answer for today:

What is your favorite fragrance?

For each comment left from Monday through midnight Central time tonight, I will donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Thanks so much for your support and for reading eBeautyDaily!

I’m very picky with my scents selection. To me, everything is too strong. I do like VS and Bath and Body body sprays. Surprisingly(or not..lol), I love Britney’s Fantasy. Either VS or Bath & Body during the day, Britney’s during special nights with the hubs ;) .

It took me YEARS to find my signature fragrance — it seems like everything has musk in it, which I do not like. I’ve settled on Clinique’s Happy, and I love it.

    Good luck with the posts!

Thanks everyone for contributing! Susan - I love Happy too - very nice fragrance. My signature is Calvin Klein’s Eternity - have you tried that one? You might like it too…

I don’t wear perfume anymore but my favorite used to be Poison because I thought it smelled like jasmine tea. Then some time ago I read something about the perfume having toxins? Don’t know if it was an urban legend or what.

Oh I forgot I had an Estee Lauder cologne or body scent or something that was really hard to find. I thought it smelled clean and fresh until one day somebody told me they hated it! Stopped wearing perfume after that. :P

So does this count as another comment?

Hsien- what a surprise - Poison used to be my siggy fragrance before I discovered Eternity. :) We are long lost sisters, I am pretty sure. And there are no damn toxins in it, put your perfume on, woman. (rofl)

Thanks so much again for all your comments!! :)

My favorite used to be Gap’s Day, until they discontinued it. Now I like Aquolina’s Pink Sugar (I’m very girly!)

In high school it was Emeraude. In college Jean Nate (I practically bathed in that stuff). Now I wear Joy in the winter and fruity body splashes in the summer.

It’s not fancy or niche, but my fave fragrance is Lancome O Oui. Has been since high school. It’s the one scent that I want to wear on all occasions, I just feel better whenever I have it on!

Did I make it under the wire? I’m deciding to operate on Pacific time for Comments for a Cure… :)

    Hi Christina
    Read you all the time
First time to post—for a great cause!
I have a new favorite—-Pure White Linen. I used to wear White Linen in college. Just happened to be at the Estee Lauder counter last weekend and tried Pure White Linen. I lov it better than the original. Just a hint of jasmine—lovely for summer!
