Doing Battle with Under Eye Circles

Do you get plenty of sleep every night but still battle dark circles and puffiness under your eyes? This is most likely a genetic problem, rather than a sleep debt problem. Careful application of concealer can help, but you have to be so careful to choose the right color that will hide the darkness but not highlight the puffiness. You might be happy to know that there have been some wonderful innovations in skin care that battle these dark capillaries from the inside out. Try one from one of my favorite companies, Joey New York - Quick Under Eye Fix. This product will battle dark circles, puffiness and fine lines. Who needs a good night of sleep with great products like these? Party on!

Oooh…I’m gonna need this. I think our dark circles must be genetic, b/c I was worried about the cirlces one of our kids had and mentioned it to the pediatrician on a routine visit. She looked at me and said, “You have them, too. He probably just gets them from you.” I was thrilled with her observation. ;) BTW-Are there any concealers you like that are a little less expensive?

You know, to be honest, I really don’t have one that I truly love. I have been using one from 3 Custom Color Specialists, that probably wouldn’t count as less expensive, but it isn’t my favorite either. I don’t have the problems with dark circles as much as I have scars and blemishes to cover, so what I generally use is a waterproof makeup that I apply underneath my foundation. The waterproof means that it will stay put, which is more important to me, and I choose a color that matches my skin tone. This probably didn’t help, ha ha, but I will go on a hunt for a good inexpensive concealer and will let you know! But if you really have these dark circles, you should give one of these new products a try, I really do understand that they work pretty well, and a little bit probably goes a long way. Bald Man, don’t we have a birthday coming up or something???

Thanks for trying. ;) I’ve tried those concealers that are green or yellow or whatnot, that you’re supposed to put on under foundation, but they never worked for me (just looked kinda scary!). Oh well, I guess it doesn’t matter too much since I usually don’t put makeup on for hanging with the kids all day. But it is nice to have the right products for a day or night out! And I hear I have some great company in my August birthday. :D
