Fonda selling wrinkle cream
I found this a tad bit interesting - especially after noticing how tremendously wrinkled Jane Fonda was in the movie Monster In Law. I hope she has been using L’Oreal’s creams if she is going to be their spokesmodel, no doubt it should be able to make some improvements. ;)
Hollywood veteran Jane Fonda has been named as L’Oreal Paris’ oldest ever “spokesmodel”. The 68-year-old signed a six-figure deal to become the new face of their anti-ageing cream. The Barbarella beauty is renowned for her attitude towards “real beauty” and growing old naturally. Oscar-winner Fonda claims not to have had cosmetic surgery.
Claims? If she has had plastic surgery, she needs to get her money back. If you think thats a little snarky for me, you are probably right. I am feeling a little snarky, as I am on Day 2 of the Campaign to Eliminate Lip Wrinkles from my life (yes, it’s a nice way of saying I am quitting smoking). (I think Ms. Fonda should have tried that campaign a few years back for best results.) And the LipNIX, I think it might be helping a little, I really do. That is the only different thing I am doing this time, and I am not near as stressed out as I normally am and my cravings have not been terribly bad at all.
And if you guessed I am not a big fan of Fonda, you are right - although I did like Monster in Law - darn funny movie. ;)

You crack me up. :)
I had the same initial reaction to the Fonda news. Wrinkle cream, really?

LOL Yeah, really. I hope they have her on the 3X daily plan getting her ready. She is a lovely woman, really she is - but probably not the poster child for wrinkle cream. ;) Hope you are doing well, Kerri! :)

Give the old broad a break-she’s 68 for cryin’out loud! Go put some more lipNix on and we can make fun of the ones that have HAD plastic surgery! LOL! (Joan Rivers, can we talk?)
Congratulations on day 2. I’m very proud of you. Deep breaths help.

I agree that Fonda should have wrinkles, so maybe that’s not the best product to promote. But, yeah, Rivers and the like are getting pretty scary.
I am doing well, Christina. I hope you are, too.
Saying a prayer and sending lots of hope for your success in the CELW. I am in the middle of my own major life change right now (removing 70 unhealthy, unneeded, unwanted pounds from this young body of mine! And not by any high-tech means.). I have had some success so far, but, to be honest, the process really sucks. I hate it. But in the end, I know it is what’s best for me and for my family. And so, here’s my hope for you for strength and success today!
Hope Miss Kitty continues to do well. :)

Ha! Gail - you are right, as always. Poor ol’ Jane. Joan Rivers looks much
more fakeworse if you ask me. I certainly wouldn’t put her face on my wrinkle cream either. I guess it is a good thing I am not a cosmetics exec!!Kerri - I feel your pain, I really do. I always have extra weight to get rid of, and with having quit smoking for the 4th time in 2 years, I have more pounds on the way. I still haven’t lost the weight from the last 3 times. Aargh. Miss Kitty is doing just fine, she is crawling all over me as we speak. I need to pin her down and take out her stitches tonight or tomorrow. THAT will be fun. :) Another great use for my good, precision tweezers!!

There’s always Photoshop! :) You wouldn’t believe how many ordinary women like us use it. They’d NEVER show anyone a photo of themselves without airbrushing it. Wonder what it would be like to meet them in person? I know I’ve noticed a few extra chins that weren’t there in the pictures. heehee
You’re doing great, honey!! So happy for you.
