Homemade Beauty!
At DeseretNews.com there are several great options for some really yummy sounding homemade body products. This Chocolate Lip Gloss is SO gonna be in my beauty bag by tonight! And how about making an assortment of them using some of the variety of different colored chips at the store and giving them as a really nifty gift? Not to mention how good this could be for those of us who need a chocolate fix, but don’t need a chocolate fix….. ;)
Chocolate Lip Gloss
2 teaspoons petroleum jelly
1/8 teaspoon honey
5 chocolate chips (milk chocolate for a light color; semisweet for a dark color)
1/8 teaspoon shortening
Mix all ingredients in a microwave-safe container. Microwave, uncovered, on high power for 20 seconds. Stir. Repeat until chips are fully melted. Pour into a small jar and freeze 15 minutes or until solid. Then apply it on your lips. Makes about 1 tablespoon of gloss.

I think maybe you can just lick it a little–looks and tastes lovely! I am trying it before I go to bed tonight, will let you know :) AND, I am so glad you like the pink. I figure it is nauseating to the guys…hee hee. But it looks SO much more like “me” than the blue did.
