Lindsay Lohan is the New Spokeswoman for Proactiv
I have mentioned before, I love Proactiv Solution - I am an old school user back from the beautiful Vanessa Williams days - anyway, it’s been awhile. Ha ha - But I used it faithfully until my skin grew tired of it sometime in the past year.
Anyhoo, the new news about town is that La Lohan is their new spokesperson and will be appearing in commercial spots for Proactiv very soon. Did she ever have skin problems? Not that I noticed, but regardless, I am sure she will gain them a pile of new customers!

I saw that commercial last night. It sounded like she lost her voice or something. All I could think was, “Someone get this girl a lozenge!!!”

Seriously, I have never noticed her to have skin problems, just like Jessica Simpson and everyone else that gets paid big bucks to tell people desperate to cure their acne that this stuff works.
I wanted to try this stuff 8 years ago when I was pregnant and breaking out like a pre-teen and I contacted Gunthy Renker to make sure it was safe to use in pregnancy. They told me no, that the charcoal they put int he products would get into my bloodstream and be toxic for the baby. Uhh…well needless to say hearing about charcoal and possibly toxicity, I decided I would never use it.
I saw an infomercial last night for Murad Acne Complex, have you heard anything about this product? I would love to try it out…but for free of course. lol.

I have been using Murad and I am VERY pleased with it. It really gets my face clean and it’s way better than Proactiv (which I also tried), I think. The only downside is that the smell of the exfoliating gel can be kind of heavy (like vinegar… that’s what it smells like to me), but as soon as I follow it up with lotion, the smell goes away for me… it’s also a little more expensive than Proactiv, but again, it works a lot better.

I saw a Lindsay Lohan behinds the scenes interview on cooking show of all things. She uses skin spritz and foundation from Mineralogie. I finally found someone who sell it online. I bought some from http://www.mineral-makeup-source.com and am very pleased with both products. The foundation goes on nicely and the skin spritz keeps it nice for countless hours.

I wonder if Ms. Lohan realizes just how many citizens in this country would like “not” to see her on the front page of anything any more.
When there are people being killed on the other side of the world, at that same time she claims a “heat exhaustion”, it makes one wonder, if she is even alive and breathing…. clearly she’s brain dead.
Give us a break, all of us, I’m 58 years old, and you still are able to cross my daily path, whether that be msn.com or the local news stand. It’s as if we were the actors and you were the penetrating media. Go away. Please, leave us alone You are about as interesting as a smelly dead rat… pew!!
I would hate to be you in a few years, when duh… it sets in what a mess you made of all the opportunity you had… get it “had.” Your career will soon be so over!!! Hopefully that will end the daily updates on your body and what stage it’s in…
From an adult…

I love Proactiv…been using it for about two yrs now. Never had a single problem with it. Anything you put or use on your body can be harmful or toxic in some form or another. Just read the ingredents label sometime on the bottle of that fancy expensive foundation you probably use..most of that stuff you cannot even pronounce. Different things work for different people, you have to take into effect skin type, sensitivity, etc. It is not one size fits all just like anything else in life.
