Makeup Brushes

These gorgeous brushes, by Shu Uemura, make me want to go out and buy a whole new set. Shu Uemura brushes are reputed to be the best out there, and are made to last a lifetime. If you have from $200-$500 in your makeup brush budget, you cannot go wrong with buying them from Shu. I, however, do not have that luxury. I have always purchased my makeup brushes from the art supply stores, where they are generally less expensive (but, you can pay a small fortune there as well if you want to), and have a great selection.
Always spend the extra money to purchase natural hair brushes at a minimum or kolinsky sable as the ideal. Nylon brushes will simply not do the job of blending nearly as well. And do consider the brand, as there is a distinct difference in low and high end brushes. I always go for the happy medium, and have not been disappointed yet.
