Moving on, in doing some research for Christine, who is having a time with her thick wavy hair, I ran across a very cute and very informative web site for people with naturally curly hair. There are a ton of product reviews, and some pretty inspiring stories from people who have learned to embrace their curly locks. I hope you all will too!

I’m a curly girl! I straightened it for years, but when I was pregnant with my second daughter I just couldn’t stand the time AND heat involved in straightening it. Now I just wash, add some gel, and go!

I have naturally curly hair that I am trying to grow longer but straightening it everyday is causing it to break. I don’t mind wearing my hair curly, but is it possible to have a permanent wave put in my hair to create more relaxed curls that are easier to control?
