Sheer Miracle Mineral Makeup

by Christina Jones on March 10th, 2006

Sheer Miracle Mineral MakeupSheer Miracle is a new mineral makeup on the block, and is being marketed as a “no frills” alternative to the more popular brands (i.e. bareMinerals). Their foundations have the sunscreen that has helped make mineral makeup in general so popular, and do not contain Bismuth Oxychloride. With more minimalist (and less expensive) packaging, the price drops to $18.50 for the foundation colors. They have a variety of colors to choose from that are well classified (light, medium, dark/warm, neutral, cool) as well as a choice between a matte, and a dewy finishing powder. They have a full line of corrective color concealers, blushes and quite a few beautiful eye shadow colors to try. Looks pretty good to me, have any of you tried this line?

4 opinions for Sheer Miracle Mineral Makeup

I’m sticking with bareminerals, since it works for me and it lasts so long that I don’t need to replenish my supply very often. I’ll keep this one in mind, tho, and would be interested to hear of direct comparisons between the two, also.

Flipping through a magazine at the hair salon this week, I noticed an ad for liquid mineral make-up. I wonder what that’s like…

I thought I might try their eyeshadows - have been wanting to try bareMinerals, but the price is keeping me away (am poor as a church mouse at the moment). And I don’t know about the liquid mineral makeup - sounds a bit to me like someone trying to steal some of the “mineral thunder” for their own. I can’t imagine it is any good, but I might be wrong…I often am. ;)

I use Sheer Minerals after trying and finding that I liked mineral makeup from the Bare Escentuals line. I did not want to get stuck with a pre-ship plan and Sheer Miracle is comparable and is less expensive. I have also converted my mother (who is in her 70’s) and my daugher, mysister and her daughters My sister has problems with reactions with other cosmetics but that is solved with Sheer Minerals. If you want to give it a try the company offers small trial sizes and I have not had problems with shipping.

I have tried a lot of mineral makeups and this is by far superior for me the color is great and doesn’t accentuate lines and pores, like all the rest did. I’ve even had one company custom blend some for me and the color was still way off!!
