Tendertones from MAC - Coming Soon!
For all you MAC addicts out there (I am right there with you), May 31st is bringing the launch of Tendertones, a new and beneficial lip gloss and lip treatment. I adore all of these new lip glosses on the market from the cosmetic queens, but this one has a sunscreen in it, making it a cut above the rest (the ones I have been wearing anyway). I really appreciate a sunscreen in my lip products - lips are so easily burnt, and while you don’t feel it so much like you do the rest of your body when it is burnt, your lips easily dry and chap and peel when they get too much sun. The colors are sheer and gorgeous - Purring, Deep Sigh, Soft Note, Hush Hush, Warm Smile, Tender Baby, Shush!, Take a Hint, Pucker - and are $14.50 each. Here is what MAC says about them:
M·A·C Tendertones SPF 12 gives lips a silky splash of sheer colour and a dab of SPF protection so lips stay healthy and feel smooth after every application. The Strawberry Kiwi flavour formula gives the protection and comfort of a lip balm with the sexy shine of a gloss.
Petrolatum and Linoelic Acid work to condition and maintain moisture on lips while vitamin E works to protect against the harmful conditions of the environment. Lipid complex with coffee seed extract and astricaryum murumuru butter give lips the look of a gloss with the feel of a balm.

Ooh - those look yummy! I burn so easily that those look like a great thing to toss in my purse :-)

This is my first time on a “beauty” site. I have to be honest, I am a minimalist when it comes to anything outside brushing my hair, but these look great. Sunblock in them, that is yummy! Especially for someone who always gets blisters in the summer from sun exposure. Yee ha! Bring them on. :)

Chloe - me too! I rarely realize my lips have been burnt until they are peeling off my face a few days later, but it happens all the time.
Kendra - welcome, welcome! I hope to see you around here more often - and MAC is a great brand to choose if you want to cut to the chase and try something great from the start. Can’t. go. wrong. ;)
