Thinking About Washing My Face

by Christina Jones on January 5th, 2007

face-washingWhew - it is hard for me to get back up and running after the holidays. The last thing my hubby I want to think about is buying more stuff to try (yeah, to try to find a place for in the cabinet), but tis the season for taking care of yourself, right? And you can’t very well keep up with your washing your face resolution without any good stuff to do that with, right?

I have a new product by Elizabeth Arden (the most fabulous mascara maker…lol) that I have been using since about the first of December that I will get to in the next post, but first I want to link you to the most anal rententive face washing video ever - click here. Maybe not so anal as it is ineffective, at least it would be for me. Do you wash your face like this? I sure don’t - if you do, let me introduce you to my friend, the Clarisonic. ;)

Thanks, Hsien, for the hoot of a video. :)

LMAO that was too funny…geesh washing your face is not brain surgery lol…I just put a little Dove Facial Cleanser in my palms add some water and lather up, rinse and then day or night moisterizer. I cant believe someone made a video on how to wash your face..again too funny.

:) This is actually the way most East Asians (Chinese , Japanese, Korean..) clean their faces. And they are known for good skin.

Good point Sandy. Also European women prefer to remove with cotton swabs or tissues. “putting dove in your hands and then lathering up” is a particularly American trait.

Geez: I looked up the Clarisonic and it is $195 less $10 and free shipping. That is a ton for a facial brush.

Have you tried the brush and it it REALLY better than the little plain rotating brushes?

Make me a believer…would it help wrinkles? I’m all about my face.
